This divine oversight leads to a series of comical misfortunes as he finds himself trapped in a spiritual predicament until he honors his forgotten promise.

Maddock Films has built a reputation for creating content that blends comedy with supernatural elements, and “Bhool Chuk Maaf” continues this successful formula. The film fits within their growing universe of entertainers that incorporate Indian cultural and spiritual beliefs into modern storytelling.

The setting of Banaras (Varanasi) plays an important role in the narrative, with its ancient ghats, temples, and spiritual atmosphere providing the perfect backdrop for a story dealing with divine promises. The film uses this sacred city’s unique charm and cultural significance to enhance the tale of love, fate, and redemption.

Rajkummar Rao, known for his versatility across genres, brings his comedic timing and authentic small-town characterization to the role of Ranjan. Wamiqa Gabbi, who has garnered critical acclaim for her performances in various streaming projects, complements him as Titli, creating a fresh on-screen pairing that adds to the film’s appeal.
